How this website handles information.
Who handles your enquiry
Clair Plastic Surgery and its appointed international consultation operator, Portzone Co., Ltd. (Mediport), handle the enquiry you submit. Mediport provides consultation coordination; clinical decisions remain with the treating clinician.
What we collect and why
The form collects your name, the reply method you choose with its contact detail (an email address, or a WhatsApp number with its country code and any optional backup email), preferred language, selected treatment, question, consent choices and submission time to receive and respond to your enquiry. Health information you choose to include is covered by a separate consent. Do not submit passport numbers, medical records or photographs.
Your choice
The online form is for adults aged 19 or older. Each consent is separate and unchecked by default. You can choose not to submit, use the clinic telephone, or contact us together with a guardian. Submitting an enquiry does not confirm an appointment or consent to treatment.
Storage and retention
Enquiry information is stored in the Mediport consultation system in Seoul, Korea, using Supabase database hosting. Access is limited to authorized staff. It is retained while handling your enquiry and related coordination, then deleted when that purpose ends unless a legal retention duty applies. Access, correction, deletion or withdrawal requests can be made through the same consultation channels.
Service providers and overseas processing
Vercel provides hosting and may process IP addresses, browser and request records in the United States for service delivery, security and troubleshooting. The application and consultation database use the Seoul region. Intake notifications use existing Mediport service providers, including Resend in the United States, with minimized operational information. Names, contact details, enquiry text and health information are not placed in these alerts. Processing occurs over encrypted connections when you visit or submit; provider technical records follow the relevant service retention policies.
Translation support
To help the consultation team read your enquiry, its text may be processed by Anthropic and OpenAI in the United States for AI translation and translation checking. This includes any health details or other personal information you put in the question. Your separate name and contact fields (email or WhatsApp number) are not supplied to the translation task. Translation can be imperfect and does not make a diagnosis or replace a clinician. Transfer occurs when the inbox processes the message, over an encrypted connection. API service records are generally retained for up to 30 days; safety or legal exceptions can apply. You can decline this processing by not submitting the form and contacting the clinic by telephone.
LINE, WhatsApp and analytics
LINE and WhatsApp open the existing Mediport consultation channels with a Clair clinic label. You review and send the message yourself. Their privacy policies apply to use of those services. Google Analytics is optional. When this site confirms that your connection is outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, it is on by default and can be turned off in the footer at any time. In those regions it starts only after you allow it in the footer; the same applies if the country cannot be confirmed, the check fails, or your device time zone is European. For this check the site reads only the two-letter country code of your connection and does not store your IP address. It measures page visits and consultation button use with a browser identifier; usage data may be processed in the United States. Automatic form tracking, session replay and Google signals are disabled. When website analytics are on, page addresses sent to Google Analytics may include selected campaign parameters and ad-click identifiers; this also applies when you allow analytics where they are off by default. Where analytics are on by default (outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), a Google Ads tag also measures whether visits from our ads lead to an enquiry and may set cookies whose names begin with _gcl_. Advertising personalisation stays off, and turning analytics off in the footer also turns this Google Ads measurement off and reloads the page. Analytics cookies and a choice to allow expire after 180 days; a choice to turn analytics off stays in effect until you change it. Either can be changed in the footer. Consultation text and contact details are never sent as analytics events.
